Happitat Terms and Conditions and Policies

Purpose

The Terms and Conditions, and Policies section provides clear guidelines to help our
guests understand their responsibilities and expectations when visiting Happitat.

Happitat operates with safety, environmental integrity, and guest enjoyment as our top
priorities. To support these values, guests agree to the following terms and conditions
upon booking and visiting:

General Park Rules

  • Guests must remain on marked paths and areas at all times.
  • Outside food & beverage (except water) are prohibited in line with our no waste policy.
  • Guests may be subject to a bag search at the park entrance.
  • Happitat is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings
    brought to the park.
  • For the health and safety of our guests and staff, smoking (including vapes),
    alcohol, and any illegal substances are strictly prohibited in and around the park.
  • Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or group leader to enter.
  • Each attraction has its own requirements and restrictions, including weight
    between 40-120kg. minimum height 120cm, physical and mental suitability which must be met to participate.
  • Happitat may be required to close or suspend access to the park or specific
    attractions without notice due to maintenance, weather or other operational requirements
  • By entering the park, guests acknowledge and agree that they may be
    photographed or recorded for marketing or security purposes.
  • Happitat reserves the right to refuse entry and remove any guest acting
    dangerously, inappropriately or violating park rules, without refund.
  • Instruction provided by the Happitat Crew must be followed at all times.
  • Liability Waiver: All guests are required to sign a liability waiver upon arrival,
    acknowledging the inherent risks of adventure activities and agreeing to adhere to Happitat’s safety protocols.

Adventure Entry Rules - Ziplines and Via Ferrata

The following ride restrictions apply and must be enforced. These are communicated to guests by signage and/or via verbal interactions.

  • An adult must accompany guests between the ages of 8 and 12.
  • Guests under 18 must have a parent or guardian present to sign a waiver
  • The Via Ferrata has a weight requirement of between 40kg - 120kg.
  • Guests must be a minimum of 120cm tall.
  • Loose items, including phones, jewellery, wallets, etc, must be secured in the
    lockers provided.
  • Long hair must be safely secured before taking part.
  • Closed-toe shoes must be worn
  • For your safety, the PPE provided for this adventure must be worn and used
    correctly at all times
  • Smoking, eating or drinking is not permitted during the Adventure.
  • This is a mind and body-active activity; you should be mentally and physically fit and in good medical condition. You are the best judge of your personal health.
  • This Adventure is not recommended for guests with neck or back pain, heart
    conditions, abnormal blood pressure, recent surgeries, expectant mothers, or any other medical conditions that may be aggravated.
  • Guests under the influence of drugs, alcohol, medication, or other substances that impair judgment will be unable to participate.
  • Each guest will be assessed before being allowed to participate.
  • Instruction provided by the Happitat Crew must be followed at all times.

At Happitat, guests happiness and safety come first — but delivering world-class adventure experiences requires clarity and commitment. This is our official Adventure Assurance policy:

STANDARD BOOKINGS – INDIVIDUAL GUESTS (WITHOUT ADD-ON)

Notice Period Outcome
More than 7 days Full refund or free reschedule
48 hours to 7 days 50% refund or full credit
Less than 48 hours No refund or reschedule

Guests are encouraged to contact us as early as possible so we can help others experience the adventure.

WEATHER CANCELLATIONS

  • If Happitat cancels due to weather or environmental risk:
    Full refund or priority rebooking — guest’s choice
  • If guest cancels due to weather, but Happitat remains open:
    Standard refund policy applies

GROUP BOOKINGS & EVENTS (INCLUDING CORPORATE, SCHOOL, PRIVATE)

Group bookings involve reserved capacity, operational setup, and planning support. As such, the following applies:

More than 14 days Full refund or reschedule
8–13 days 50% refund or full credit
3–7 days No refund, credit may be considered
Less than 72 hours No refund or rebooking

NO-SHOWS

Guests who do not arrive for their scheduled booking are ineligible for a refund or rebooking. If an emergency occurred, contact our team within 24 hours to explore reschedule options (not guaranteed).

LATE ARRIVAL / MISSED SESSION TIME

Late arrivals will have the option to rebook another session if there is availability. If not, options can be explored to book another date and time (not guaranteed)
