A Cliff Park is an adventure built into a real cliff, not rides bolted onto concrete. At Happitat, the rock is the backbone of the experience. You’re clipped into a continuous safety system as you move from element to element: ziplines, Via Ferrata climbs, suspension bridges, log crossings and cliff-edge platforms above an ancient rainforest valley. We keep guest numbers low so it feels raw and unscripted, while our guides and engineering keep it safe and controlled.

Unlimited Cliff Pass

The Unlimited Cliff Pass is the complete Happitat journey. It’s one non-stop progression along the cliff, from first step off solid ground to your final zipline. You’ll climb Via Ferrata routes, traverse suspension bridges and log crossings, scramble across netting and walk tightropes with the forest 400 metres below. Between the intensity, there are pauses in quiet forest spaces to reset and take it all in.

The Arete Via Ferrata Pass
$129 per person · Avg 2–3 hours
Climb the cliff, rung by rung.
Via Ferrata is cliff climbing made accessible. Using steel rungs and fixed cables, you traverse and ascend the rock face itself while always secured.
You’ll feel your legs shake, your grip tighten and your focus narrow as the valley drops away beneath you, then feel the surge of confidence when you look back at what you’ve just crossed.

The Edge Park Pass (GA Access)
$15 per person
Be there when they step up.
Not everyone wants to clip in and that’s okay. The Edge Park Pass lets you soak up the atmosphere, the views and the reactions as your people step off the edge. Watch from designated viewing areas, explore nearby spaces and still feel part of the story unfolding on the cliff.

Happitat uses the most advanced safety system in the world ensuring you can never disconnect - Introducing LockD Clips
The “always-locked” LockD Clip system has been developed specifically for these adventures and are simple to use.
How Does it Work?
The “key” to locking and unlocking the LockD Clips smart belay system is the Tweezle Key.
When a LockD Clip is inserted onto a Tweezle Key (mounted on a lifeline), it locks, while the other clip unlocks.
Allowing the climber to travel but never to disconnect from the safety line until the safe exit point.

Getting Here
You’re in luck. The drive to Happitat is part of the experience. You’ll be winding through the Gold Coast Hinterland and into the heart of the World Heritage Listed Lamington National Park.
Happitat is located on the Binna Burra Cultural Landscape, privately owned by Binna Burra Lodge Ltd, and surrounded by ancient rainforest and soaring cliffs.
Depending on your starting point, the drive times are about:
55 minutes from Gold Coast’s City Centre.
90 minutes from Brisbane’s City Centre.
Under 2 hours from Byron Bay.
We recommend allowing ample time for your journey to Happitat ahead of your session time. Follow the signs to Binna Burra. We have a dedicated Happitat carpark at 1696 Beechmont Rd, Beechmont. Once you've parked, our Happitat Shuttle Bus will take you the rest of the way, a further 20 minutes up the mountain.
Have your ticket ready to show the bus driver. You'll need this to board the bus and begin your adventure.
