Your Arete adventure will take you over the edge for a breathtaking experience along the sheer cliff face. You’ll traverse an 80-metre wobbly bridge, navigate tightropes, timber log crossings, and a climbing net.

Experience our highest and longest zipline! You’ll soar 400 metres above pristine National Park at exhilarating speeds, gliding across the entire cliff face. Your adventure doesn’t end there, you’ll navigate back to base via a thrilling Via Ferrata section.

The Overhang course will allow you to conquer all three of our awe-inspiring ziplines in one unforgettable journey. You’ll soar across the cliff face, fly past a stunning waterfall, and glide up close to the rugged rock wall before launching out over the expansive valley below.

Park Explorer

Step onto our 12-metre cantilevered platform with a breathtaking 400-metre drop below. Breathe in the uninterrupted panorama of the untamed landscape then sink into the quieter side of the wild. Follow bushwalks shaded by towering trees and discover our tranquil natural spring.

Happiness is a choice

Happitat is designed to add to the all-consuming sensory experience of our natural environment.

By conjuring the courage to take on real adventure you become focused on yourself and the environment. You forget the distractions. And, once you take that first step over the edge, you prove to yourself that you’re capable of exceeding your own expectations and that you are part of this environment, not a spectator to it.

It inspires a positivity that spans your physical and mental state. It’s consuming and gives you a deep connection with nature and those whom you share it with.

Getting here

You’re in luck. The drive to Happitat is part of the experience. You’ll be winding through the Gold Coast Hinterland and into the heart of the World Heritage Listed Lamington National Park.

Happitat is located on the Binna Burra Cultural Landscape, privately owned by Binna Burra Lodge Ltd, and surrounded by ancient rainforest and soaring cliffs.

Depending on your starting point, the drive times are about:

55 minutes from Gold Coast’s City Centre.
90 minutes from Brisbane’s City Centre.
Under 2 hours from Byron Bay.
