Welcome to Happitat

Our inaugural destination, situated on the Binna Burra Cultural Landscape, surrounded by Woonoongoora (Lamington National Park), is a testament to our vision - an embodiment of sustainable thrill and exploration. Perched on the edge of a 200-meter lava-formed cliff, Happitat is the world's first eco-adventure experience of its kind. As you scale the craggy vertical cliff face, weave through the geological marvels, or fly over it all you become a part of the primal rhythm that connects all life on Earth.

Binna Burra

Welcome to Lamington National Park and Binna Burra, the home of, Happitat. Nestled in the heart of the lush Australian rainforest, our park is surrounded by natural wonder at every turn.

Lamington National Park, renowned for its lush rainforests, ancient trees, and spectacular wildlife, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and we're proud to call it home. Spanning over 20,000 hectares, the park is a haven for biodiversity, with over 160 bird species, unique fauna, and countless varieties of plants coexisting in this idyllic landscape. The park's majestic waterfalls, serene creeks, and enchanting walking trails serve as a constant reminder of the beauty of nature and the necessity of its preservation.

Binna Burra, nestled on the edge of this expansive park, is equally captivating. It is a place of cultural and historical significance, offering a unique blend of natural splendour and rich heritage. As the site of one of the first nature-based resort in Australia, Binna Burra has a storied history of promoting ecotourism and environmental conservation. It's an ethos we're proud to carry forward with Happitat.

Our adventure experience is perched on a cliff within the Binna Burra section of the park, offering our visitors unparalleled views of the surrounding landscapes and a unique perspective on the area's abundant wildlife. Every element of Happitat, from the Cliff Park to our modular Welcome Building, is designed to blend seamlessly into this natural panorama, ensuring minimum impact and maximum enjoyment.

Being located within such a vibrant ecosystem comes with immense responsibility, and at Happitat, we take this responsibility very seriously. We operate with an unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship, working tirelessly to ensure our activities are environmentally responsible to this remarkable landscape.

Our respect for the land extends beyond mere preservation. We work closely with local communities, and respect local culture and heritage which helps us understand and appreciate the deeper connections between the land and its original custodians.
